NAPLAN commenced this week for our Year 3 and 5 m88 casino login register. Well done to all of our m88 casino login register who sat testing over 3 days this week. Catch-up testing will continue during Week 9, so please ensure that devices are charged and peripherals are brought in.

I had the opportunity to join our Year 5 m88 casino login register at St Helena Island as part of their UOI, Where we are in place and time. I congratulate our m88 casino login register on their engagement in this enriching experience and their approach to learning was a highlight.

I also wanted to touch upon some of the great work our teachers do in creating, fostering, and nurturing positive relationships. They are amazing individuals with a vast repertoire of skills to assist in supporting emotional and social learning as well as all things academic. Not only do we have targeted time through our morning ritual (Connection Time), but we can also engage in specific social and emotional learning through role plays, circle time, and scenario building.

Who would have thought that our little Preppies have now been at school for 8 weeks already? From walking in on the very first day, some m88 casino login register were confident, some nervous, but hopefully all full of excitement for what BIG school will bring.

m88 casino login register term has been all about learning new rules and routines. It is getting to know new friends and teachers and forming trusting relationships that allow us to feel safe. It is also about learning new skills, sharing ideas, taking risks, and having fun while we learn.

Each week is packed full of exciting learning opportunities within the classroom and outside. We are all looking forward to taking Lenny home and sharing our adventures with the class after the weekend.

In Chinese, Ms Z has been teaching us to say our name and count to 10. Miss West and Mr Moffet have fun games and activities set up to help us move our bodies and learn different skills. Mr Gratton has been teaching us to keep the beat in music. In Digital Technology, we have been learning about coding with the coding caterpillar and Beebots. In English, we have been busy learning sounds and working on blending them together to read words. We have been practicing our letter formation and have begun to write words. On Tuesday, 5March, Year 2 ventured off on an exciting adventure to The Queensland Rail Museum in Ipswich. In a thrilling blend of history and adventure, Year 5 m88 casino login register recently embarked on an excursion to the heritage-listed St Helena Island. We have been learning about colonial life in Australia during the 1800s, particularly focusing our inquiries on the convict presence in Australia.

We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful news of our recent Primary Years Programme (PYP) Evaluation visit from the International Baccalaureate (IB). While this visit took place remotely, it was a significant milestone for our school community. As we move into Week 8 of Term 1, I am filled with a profound sense of pride and accomplishment at what our Secondary College community has achieved so far. What a wonderful time I had at the recent Year 7 and Year 9 Camps which I attended. MEDALS!! Volleyball Beach Schools Cup

OnMarch 3 and 4,24 Hills m88 casino login register competed at the largest ever Volleyball Beach Schools Cup: 55 schools and 476 teams.

We won our first ever medal! Bronze in the girls m88 casino login register 11 pairs, Chelsea Knight and Sam Gurney.

Concert Series Launch

Monday 11 March saw the first lunchtime concert in our series of five. We were excited to welcome musicians giving solo performances and see the Secondary Dance Team. The first performer was Jackson Rideout, Year 9, on acoustic guitar. The next performer was Max Garner, Year 11, on piano. The audience were very appreciative of the wonderful talent on show. Netball Trials - Beginnings of a Bright Future

They both played a masterful, impactful, and memorable game out there and deserve recognition for their hard work.

Annie Parer and Tanya Waalder both deserve praise with helping with the umpiring of the day. Overall, the BZ netball trials were a great success for all who played and participated. We would like to thank the players who pushed themselves to achieve greater heights, the umpires who made the game fair and safe.
