Clarification on Digital Platforms

I’d like to take a moment to clarify some recent communication regarding the platforms we use to keep up with your child’s learning. Term 4 is off to a fantastic start, and in 2A, we’ve dived straight into our new English genre: Persuasive Writing! The m88 sports betting have been exploring various persuasive texts, analysing how authors and creators convince us to think, feel, believe, or act. It’s been eye-opening for them to discover just how often persuasive language is used in everyday life. They’re beginning to think critically about the information they encounter and how it can influence their opinions.

We were lucky to have our beloved therapy dog, Skye, join us for a brainstorming session. Thank you, Mrs Rosevear, for bringing Skye to our classroom. The class quickly identified key benefits of therapy dogs, such as improving well-being, increasing engagement in learning, and teaching responsibility.

Having Skye with us sparked plenty of creative ideas, and the m88 sports betting even came up with new ways therapy dogs could further enhance our well-being at school. We’re incredibly fortunate to have our wonderful therapy dogs here at Hills, and they continue to inspire us in so many ways – including our writing!

The Opening of the 32nd Artwaves Exhibition took place at the Logan Art Gallery on Friday 4 October. Featuring almost 300 high school m88 sports betting from 31 participating schools in Logan and the surrounding areas, this annual event showcases the creative energy of young artists from across the region. The artworks are selected by a panel of local visual arts teachers and gallery staff. The exhibition continues until 19 October (Tuesday to Saturday).

During the recentSeptember College holidays, nine of our Hills College m88 sports betting, accompanied by Mr Whaley and Mrs Skelton, had the incredible opportunity to embark on a cultural trip to Japan. From visiting historical landmarks to experiencing the beauty of Japanese art and cuisine, the trip was a memorable experience for all involved. We are excited to announce a new initiative at Hills this Term!
